Coursework

For my comparitive coursework I have chosen to do 'Lord of the Flies' by William Golding and 'The Beach' by Alex Garland. I'm thinking of looking at the way that the island paradise, which is initially perfect, is destroyed - with no real figure of authority to turn to, the groups of people divide and eventually turn against each other.

    Think about investigating power and authority in the two novels. They will work well together.
